DAY Communications LLC, my home-based business, officially began January 1, 1982. Forty years is a fairly long time; perhaps this will be my last year.
I plan to begin posting a blog series soon that will follow the dotted line to the election of Governor Andy Beshear. The objective is to help conservative Kentuckians unite to win back the seat in 2023. Please share this blog!
Looking back I recall serving as a freelance designer, writer, editor— for ads, newsletters, websites— long-term for Louisville Magazine, lots of small businesses and nonprofits; for the Louisville Forum, the Venture Club of Louisville, the Optimist Club of Louisville, Birthright of Louisville, Kentucky and Louisville Right to Life, some churches; some for free and some for pay.
This year I am working on a conservative news website that I will try to sell to a group. It will use a domain name that I have owned since spring 1998, FastZone.com. It will be built using the Microsoft web technology that I learned from a wonderful teacher and dynamite Louisville entrepreneur, Tim Landgrave, at Sullivan University in 2008-2009.
The site will offer a paywall, be scalable and secure, and may mimic the design of MSN. The Substack news feed will help direct traffic to the site.
Vote Note
This spring I have enjoyed assisting Sara-Elizabeth Cottrell in her campaign to win the Republican nomination for State Representative of the new 41st District. I encourage everyone to see her website, perhaps the best ever for a political candidate, produced by her husband.
Take a moment to read her post, “The dumbest quotes from House Dems this GA session.”
