The GLUT of information is daunting and mind-numbing and the news cycle is fast and furious.

Trying to find facts and insights takes A LOT of searching and reading, and who wants to do it?

People like me! I love to maneuver through the internet minefields to find the bomb shells that can open our eyes, so that we may take appropriate action.

My credentials

My degree is in Philosophy and my work experience is in advertising and print and web design and production. I’m jumping into journalism, as stated on my home page, to play a small part in helping to fill the deficit in conservative news and investigative journalism.

What makes a person a journalist?

A journalist is an individual who collects/gathers information in form of text, audio or pictures, processes them to a news-worthy form and disseminates it to the public. The act or process mainly done by the journalist is called journalism.

The wikipedia adds:

Citizen journalism, also known as collaborative media, participatory journalism, democratic journalism, guerrilla journalism or street journalism, is based upon public citizens "playing an active role in the process of collecting, reporting, analyzing, and disseminating news and information."
